Maiden Moon Ritual – First Quarter Moon

  • Maiden Moon is always done on the First Quarter Moon. Here’s a reliable website: http://www.moongiant.com/phase/today/
  • What I want is to make a connection with the Maiden Goddess(es) because I want to be connected with my true self. Purpose and intention is to connect with your true self and the Goddess(es).
    1. You need to use your Maiden symbols! I have a Maiden, Mother, Crone statue (show in the pic). If you have a moonstone use it!

    3. I recommend using the Goddess Elemental Circle.
      1. Guardians of the north, powers of endurance and strength guided by the Earth, representatives of Calas, I call upon to watch over me tonight within the circle. I give you this offering of (Earth symbol like sand, dirt and crystals) to let all that come in perfect love and perfect trust. Draw a pentagram with your Athame or knife.
      2. Guardians of the East, powers of endurance and strength guided by the Air, representatives of Awyr, I call upon to watch over me tonight within the circle. I give you this offering of (Air symbol like incense, burnable herbs and burnable powders) to let all that come in perfect love and perfect trust. Draw a pentagram with your Athame or knife.
  • Guardians of the South, powers of endurance and strength guided by the Fire, representatives of Ufel, I call upon to watch over me tonight within the circle. I give you this offering of (fire symbol like candles) to let all that come in perfect love and perfect trust. Draw a pentagram with your Athame or knife.

  1. Place your offering to the Maiden Goddess on your altar. Offerings vary on the Goddess you’re trying to contact, but if aren’t sure who to contact the generalized offering is peppermint and pomegranate herbs or oils (can be a mix).
  • Raise your power with focus and music. You need to center and ground yourself! Picture yourself rooting like a tree and let the energy run through the roots and feed the Earth.
  • Picture yourself flying to a first quarter moon and landing on the moon. As you’re walking you’ll notice a crystal kingdom up a head. Walk toward that kingdom and walk up the crystal stairs and walk inside of the door. When you step through the door a Goddess will be waiting for you by the well, this is the Maiden Goddess. Talk to her about whatever you need too. She is here to help you to find yourself and in order to do that organizing is highly important.
  • When you are done be sure to thank the Maiden Goddess and start your journey back to Earth from the Moon. Once you’re back to the Earth retract your roots. Wake up and snuff the candles. Keep offering out until the next day then pour it out in the woods or near a crossroads.
  • Take notes of your journey. What did you see? What did she say? What did you say? How do you feel? What do you think you should do to correct your path?
